Crab – Softshell Whaler

Description Like the Gumbo Crab, Soft Shell crabs are also Blue Crabs, just in their molten state. When they shed their shell for summer, they lose the hard outer shell leaving a thin-paper shell. Soft shells have a mild, tangy flavor with sweet and tender meat. Traditionally, the whole crab (shell left on) is fried or grilled. Available in hotel, whaler and jumbo, whole. Product Preparation Heat and serve. Customers can try with warm, butter garlic sauce for a savory punch.
